Good News and bad news. First my ankle is doing a lot better and second, the doctor here talked to a specialist in Salt Lake and the MTC president here and my mission president decided to have me stay here for two extra weeks. Yea! So, that will be fun, not really though. I really wanted to get to Ecuador. I will end up getting a new companion for the next few weeks and a new district. I will probably have to move houses and stuff as well. So I will email you still while I'm here. It's actually a good thing I am here for a little longer. I don't want to end up hurting myself worse. It will also give me more time to work on my Spanish as well, which will be nice. This last week has been good. Nothing different really. I ditched the crutches for the past two days so now I just limp around. Classes are the same, food is the same. I gave the lesson in Priesthood last Sunday. All in Spanish and that was cool. My Spanish is definitely coming along pretty well, plus I will get another two weeks. I think it was this week that one of the Hermanas in our district busted her knee and had to go home. She broke it in three places. That was really sad for her. Scripture study is always good. I've found a lot more time to study lately. I read through the true to the faith book which is actually a really good book and a good guide to study the scriptures with. Other than that there is not much else to report. I love you mom, tell everyone I love them, and I will let you guys know what my situation is as I find out.
Matthew 11:28-30- As always I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. He is always there to help me and take my burdens from me. Come unto Him! I love Him so much and I love you guys all so much.
Love,
Elder Peterson
